69 T part out value?

i have a friend of a friend of a friend who has a 69 T sitting in a garage. was told it has 58k original miles but has been sitting for the past 20 years untouched. i was told the rockers and most of the pan seem appear to be rusted out, and if they are then i think it's a safe bet that there is a lot more rust to be discovered. i am debating picking it up and parting it out (after i go look at it) but i was wondering if anyone has a ballpark figure of what it would bring? trying to see if it will be worth my while or not. price has not been discussed but my friend told me he was asking in the neighborhood of $5k.

i appreciate any info anyone may have.

you might break even and have to donate your labor to do it. i wouldn't pay more than $1500 for what you describe.

depends on whats there.
some big ticket items might make it worthwhile.
solid no crack dash $500
working blaupunckt radio $250
sports seats $2000+
deep dish fuchs $800
complete tool kit $500+
i agree with john, $5k sounds like alot for a parts car

Garage
I paid about that for my 68 when I bought it 6 years ago, and it was a running driving car. It also turned out to have enough rust to require a front pan and both sills , and that was without it being obvious, so if this one has that much obvious problems, the body is probably not salvagable. So unless it has any rare parts on it, maybe $1500.00
