Question Elephant Universal Crossover pipe question

It is smog year for my car and the headers must go so the early oil lines must go.
Discovered the Elephant Universal Crossover pipe that goes over the tranny so it works with everything. Great! Chuck makes my life better once again!

But has anyone installed one? Do I need to do a partial engine drop to get it in?

Give Chuck a call. I recently bought new supply and return lines for a front cooler and he was very helpful with a few tech questions post purchase.

Chuck is great and has the best toys but I'm not bothering anybody on a Sunday.

I got all of the exhaust off and I'm in the "learning experience zone"...

Yup, a partial engine drop is required. I had to drop the rear of the engine so the top of the fan is level with the engine compartment opening. The coil wire and the engine harness had to be disconnected. The splash pan on the drivers side (under the DME sensors) will have to be trimmed.

I'll post back with the particulars (at least for a G50 car).
