959 wiring diagrams
Hi , I know this is not the right forum but their isnt one for the 959,
The problem is that the air conditioning compressor clutch does not cut in , Their is sufficient gas in the system and when the clutch is excited via a 12volt direct feed the system does operate. Their is no live feed at the wiring plug above the engine cooling fan, has any body got a diagram or an idea ,All fuses have been checked and are ok ,the geman fuse board writing does not seem to indicate which relay cuts in the compressor clutch if one exists soley for that purpose. its the lack of wiring diagram which is really holding me up on this one/a pin out diagram on the fuse board would also greatly speed up the diagnosis time. many thanks for any help recieved Cj |

I would PM the owner of Pelican, Wayne. He is very knowledgeable AND owns a 959. If anyone has the diagram it would be him.

You might try PM'ing Wayne. He is the only other one on this board with a 959.

I'm working on my A/C system right now on my 959 too. There is a pressure switch that shuts off the compressor if there isn't enough pressure in the system. This may be faulty. It's labeled high/low pressure switch on the diagram above...

you can unplug the switch Wayne talked about, turn on comp. and cross the terminals with a paper clip to see if the switch is faulty. I dont know about P cars H/press. switch, but on GM cars they have a pretty good fail rate.
