So Pelican brain trust - how do you remove this?

Can's seem to find the solution.

Does it have a thread? Heat? Vice grips?

it is not threaded; its cast in place at time of manufacturer.
You want to remove it to upgrade to the later sway bar bung? Not going to happen. You will need the set up from weltmeister or tarrett / elephant for 1977 and older models

Please post photos of the install. How does the attachment to the spring plate differ from the Weltmeister?
