Sway bar installation tips?
I recently acquired a set of 86 carrera sway bars for my SC. I been told a come-a-long can be used for the front, any advice?
Thank you for your thoughts. JS |

They are a simple bolt on NO come-a-long required. The only slightly hard part is getting the bolts started on the front. A tapered punch works to get all the bolts started before tightening.

The come along can be useful to get the sway bar into the A-arm mount after one side is in place. Not too bad. A helper can make a big difference.

A part time use come along is cheap at places like harbor freight. They come in very handy getting bolts and things to line up when installing front suspensions and post '74 swaybars by your self
