A/C works! Replaced expansion valve.

After several years of changing some hoses, dryer and other bits I now have working A/C in my '84 Carrera Coupe. How did it happen? I changed out the expansion valve (really a fairly simple job with the part from our host ) and vacuumed out the system and recharged with R12. The air coming out is about 70f when ambient is 95f, or a 25f drop which is as good as it ever was. My only complaint of the project was the expansion valve didn't come with the required 3 "O" Rings (3 separate sizes) which it seems the manufacturer could have provided at little effort or cost. I sourced the "O" rings locally here in Charlotte.
Anyway, cool is good!
