Question New owner with a fuse/relay question

Hello all,

Trying to figure out if this is normal. Just got a 1985 911 Carrera a few weeks ago and don't know why the relays are missing and why there are wires running through where the relays should be. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. If you look at the back side of the fuse/relay cover their's a schematic of the correct fuse/relay and where they belong as well as what the fuse/relay is for. Those two yellow wires don't look correct to me. Find out where they go and if it's in use just rerun the wires like the others. I might be mistaken but the red relay is for CIS cars and not for Motronic cars.
Maybe others smarter then I will chime in and help you out.
