Decals for "A" type Carrera Calipers

Anyone know of a source for SC/Carrera "P O R S C H E" decals or stencils? Again, I'm looking for ones that will fit on the "A" type calipers. I've done some searching and have found only older posts on this.
Help is appreciated.
If anyone has a picture to post, that would be great... I havn't seen it done on the smaller two piston brakes... if it's even possible.
Thanks

decals

I bought a set of ten on Ebay for $9.99 recently,they measure 2 7/8 x 5/16.
Installed them on a Boxster caliper kit that i'm selling, turned out pretty good !

Hope this helps !

Wouldn't decals just melt or burn off the hot caliper? Stencils and H/T paint would be definitely be more gooder in my opinion.

Kevin,

These decals are "supposedly "made of quality heat resistant material ... according to the vendor !
Maybe that's why they come in packs of ten ... lol

Dutchie,
I really appreciate the offer but I can do the same here. I was jus wondering if there was a quick and dirty way. I pulled the clampers out of the box to have a looksie and am thinking they just may be too small for the "PORSCHE" logo. I may put an "ATE" logo instead... just for fun.

I think I can help you. I own a sign company, so when I did my brakes a few years ago, I sized and cut the lettering to fit. Figured what the hell, give it a try. I used premium vinyl, and they've been on there for about 5 years, through all kinds of weather, and even hit them with the power washer a number of times. No DEs yet but the first one coming up in a month - we'll see if they survive.

I hit the caliper with a file and a sanding block to smooth that area before refinishing.

I think I have some spares, so give me a few days and I'll see what I can find. If you'd rather paint, I could remove the letters and send the vinyl as a stencil.

Wavey, I would be ever so grateful. I suppose I would need the stencil as I'm doing my clamper's in yellow with black lettering. +1 on smoothing them out first, I was thinking the same thing after taking a closer look. Let me know if you find them. Feel free to PM or email me. Yours look great by the way. Just what I was looking for.
My rebuild kits and paint are on the way so I'll be doing this very soon.
Thanks,
Derek

Wavey, your brakes look great! The post of the 918 Carrera Frankenhybrid has me in the mood to do green bakes on my silver 86 so white lettering would be perfect. I'd be willing to buy a set.

I've done a few sets - both carrera and 993 brakes. A few of the ebay vendors that make them can resize to fit the carrera flat face. Just make sure you hit them with a clear coat high temp engine enamel (like from advance auto, wherever) - If you don't - you'll have some nice burgandy/brown calipers (Been there done that).

I've DE'd mine - I've abused them - for the record the G2 caliper paint holds up a little better than the durocolor high temp type paints - but the spray on paints are easier to do touch ups. I usually repaint when I rebuild and just let them get trashed from tracking the car. Sebring is tough on brakes...

I'll try to get this done today Derek - pretty sure I have some spares, and I'll just mail 'em to you. PM me with your address.

Targamaniac and Rob - I'm not really looking to sell these on Pelican, as I don't feel I can guarantee their performance. Just trying to help Derek out with some spares.

James - no problem! More pics below. They're black. I actually sent these out to Goldline for rebuilding, and got their proprietary finish on them, not paint, not sure what it is but it's extremely durable.

Derek - I have one set cut in white, which I can prep as white letters, or as a paint mask. Which way would you like them?
