Rough Value of Incomplete Track Car
I want to preface this by saying that this vehicle is not for sale and I'm just trying to document it's approximate value. I can't get into the specficis right now, but should be able to elaborate later this year.
The car itself started it's life as a 1966 911 and morphed throughtout the years as it raced in SCCA and IMSA events. In the late seventies/early eighties it ran several IMSA events including the 12 hours of Sebring and Daytona 24. It was a privateer effort that had modest results. Several years ago the car started to undergo a full restoration/transformation into a vintage racer, but for various reasons was never completed. As it sits, the tub is completely painted and fitted with body panels/windows. Some suspension hangs on the car, but major drivetrain components have not been installed. Obviously the car has more value complete, but I'm trying to establish a rough value given the current state. A summary of the current parts is listed below. Any help in assessing costs for the whole, or even on part by part basis would be appreciated. Body Fully Painted Tub (GT Racing fiberglass fenders, hood, trunk lid, bumpers) Windshield Rear quarter windows Rear window Electrical Headlights Taillights Front turn signals wiring harness Drivetrain Freshly Rebuilt 2.5 liter 911 engine (includes weber carburetors) 901 transmission Interior Sparco EVO race seat Full, custom roll cage Full gauges Cam-lock racing belts Suspension/Wheels 4 fuchs wheels (16x7s front, 16 x 8s rear) Full suspension out of 930 turbo: a-arms, trailing arms, torsion bars, struts, tie rods New shocks and strut inserts (non-adjustable, assume Bilstein or Koni) Other/Misc Fuel Safe 12 gallon fuel cell Fire System |
