Is it even possible to run a twin plug setup off an SC CDI box? I run about 32 degrees at 3000+ on my Electromotive crankfire twin-plug setup but I have no CDI and no distributor..

With your 2.8 the best way to figure the correct timing would be on a dyno. I can tell you that with my 2.7 twin plug short stroke with 10.66:1 compression and using 2 Bosch 6-pin CDI's and a converted 3.0 distributor I found that 24 degrees @ 6000rpm was perfect with my engine on a dyno.

I installed a set of GE 60's. Intake-266 duration/.490" lift; Exhaust-248 duration/.455" lift with a lobe center of 102 degrees.

I run 26 deg on my 3.2SS.

The advantage of twin plug is not having to use as much advance.

25-26 degrees with RSR Sprint cams and 10.5:1 CR. Your fuel will dictate optimal timing with your engine.
