Rennshifter
Hi,
Although I'm satisfied with my rennshifter on my "Grundüberholt" 915 gearbox, it happened a few times that I touched reverse, even with the mechanical lockout installed. Is this a question of adjustment? If yes, please point me in the right direction. Or is it a question to pay more attention as a driver? I tried to reach Jwest to ask him, but apparently something is wrong with his email. Regards, André |

I do that with mine and it is not a good sound. You need to put a washer (in the kit) under the spring on the left side to increase the centering force of the spring. And be careful!

Also, this shifter is super sensitive when it comes to adjusting the coupler. I have a stomski coupler and it took forever to get the adjustment just right.

I didn't' know there was a washer in the kit that you could add to fix this. Any pics of where it goes?

No pics but there are two springs on ether side that return the shifter to the center, the left one effects the right tension and the right one does the left. Adding washers increases the force the springs put on the shift lever to return to neutral. This helps but you can over ride the shifter and nick reverse coming out of fifth. Like tobluforu says, it could be the coupler adjustment also.

James,
It could indeed be adjustment, but the others gears are shifting fine...How should I adjust. To beef up the spring on the left is a good idea André |

Same problem sometimes with a Wevo.
I've the Wevo coupler so , and on my opinion it's just a precise adjustment needed. Take time to shift.
