Question Strange speedo behaviour

Recently my speedo behaves a bit oddly. It seems to work well but gets 'stuck' at around 80 kph. up to that it's ok, then things seem to slow down.

to add to the mystery the ventilation setting seems to have an influence: if i direct more air upwards it gets worse, if i direct the air towards the footwell the speedo seems to work better.

any ideas where to start looking?

many thanks in advance

geo

Clean all your grounds. I have had good luck with odd and intermittant issues by cleaning mine up one at a time. I have a Bentley's manual at home that shows the ground locations, not here at work or I would end you a copy of the page.....sorry.

Mine did almost the same thing, I sent it out for repair and they fixed the odometer but said the speed was performing correctly, so up to this point I just live with it.
