list, I have a question to ask of you...I have a 3.3l turbo motor in my race car. I am in the process of rebuilding it, and have heard of someone putting a 3.2l intake on in place of the 3.3l stock intake. Now, I do understand that I will have to cut and modify the throttle body in order to fit it to my Kokleyn intercooler, but I have C.I.S. and here is where my question is. Is there anyway possible to still use my C.I.S. fuel system with this intake?I know that the 3.2l uses motronic F.I., and there are places in the intake for the injectors. But with the C.I.S. system, the injectors are located in phenolic 1" spacers. if I use the spacers, the intake will be WAY too high, as it is alreary alot taller than the stock 3.3l intake.
I was told that going to this intake increases horsepower significantly over the old intake. has anyone also heard this?? I have talked with Doc Emard about this subject several years ago, as he had one on his slant nose( by the way, we all really miss Doc!!!!!!! if you have ever had the chance to meet him, you know what I mean!!) I believe he was also running C.I.S. on the 3.2l intake, but can't remember how he did it. I also have all the mods done: headers, turbo( t36-s2), intercooler, cams, twin plug, electromotive crank fire, etc...... By the way, I am a new member, and this is my first post. Looks like a wealth of information!!!! Thank you for your help in advance........Brad

You cannot run a 3.2 intake on a 3.3T motor and retain the CIS.
The point of running the 3.2 intake is as a good platform for EFI. Many tuning and power opportunities await with the advent of EFI.

hardly worth the effort with CIS. i'm doing one now and will use the TEC II, or the new TECIII from electromotive. the CIS is pretty much at it's limit with what you have now. stock 930 port size is 33mm. the 3.2 has 41mm, so the heads will need work too, or use 3.2 heads which have the shorter intake height to match the manifold.
