Thumbs up

Imagine that engine and tranny in a sleek, 2100-pound 69-73 911 body...

I don't think the coupe tub idea is a crazy one. Lighten it up, strip it down to a road-legal race car.

Noah did the drivetrain swap with his Carrera 3.0. You could do something similar, but end up with a better-looking model.

i agree with the "grass is always greener" posted before.

wait until a nice summer day when you are cruising around with the top off to decide.

Well, my coupe "Panic Attack" has subsided this morning...

It will be back though... I know it.

I can tell you all... I will have a coupe... don't know when or how,.. .but I will...

Thanks for all of the advice. Believe it or not... I do take it very seriously.

You wanna talk about coupe envy? I got two friggin' Cabriolets! *I* got coupe envy!

Why in the hail I got two cabs? Not sure myself. I will never be without a convertible. Ever. But I just don't need two. The '72 would be a perfect track car if only it were a coupe.

Me thinks me needs Porsche #3.

Gawd I still have my eye on that silver ROW SC for sale on the Rennlist.

I noticed he dropped his price from $14K to $13.5K.

i have a similar (i think you could say) thing with mine. it comes round once a month in the form of 911 & porsche world. i unwhittingly go straight to the classifieds everytime. just scan away to see whats there.

i'll often finds something that i could afford (at a stretch - though probably have to sell my current "baby" first), with better gearbox (G50), etc, etc.

but then i think %&£$ that i love my car. why not just spend the dosh on improving it. that wish list i have ain't getting any smaller for sure, so theres plenty of scope for spending.

just a thought - i feel for you.

but then i do have a CCOOOOUUUUUUPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!!

no seriously if i had a multiple car garage then a coolection would be nice, with some bikes thrown in.

it must be torture out there. too much time to think, your mind starts wondering............
