O2 sensor rewire

I have a new O2 sensor 928-606-124-00-M14 with two connectors.

I actually need a one connector type 965-606-126-01-M14

Can I cut the connector off my old sensor and reterminate the wires onto the new (wrong) sensor?

If so, which wires go where?

TIA

Either checker or Bap have a generic Bosch o2 sensor for $20. Bosch sensors with connectors are typically around $70. I wouldn't cut it and return it.
I've been using the twenty dollar ones and they are great.
Good luck

I have discovered that Bosch make universal sensors that can be spliced into existing wiring.

I think this is a good indication that splicing the old connector will be OK. Here's a link to the installation instructions.
