Another nice sc bites the dust. Why didn't you just bastardize a Mustang or some other irrelevant car?

Lol as if a 911SC is "relevant". At least he's living out his dream. Meanwhile you continue to sit on the sidelines. Why don't you STFU and leave the people who are actually enjoying their cars alone?

Looks pretty sweet. Even the black 'lid looks like its supposed to be like that. Anything special about the hinges on it? For some reason, they seem different than the ones I have laying around here...

Thank you, for all the compliments The black trunk lid is a chosen design for all shop members who own a 911. We took this as our own and employed it. I appreciate the positive comments, this car took alot of after hour and weekend work to complete. The color is BMW Mint Grun early 70s 2002 color. I chose this color as it is rarely seen, and I thought it gave my project an backdated, early look. hinges appear to be stock hinges, Not sure they looked the same as any other I have seen.

There always has to be the one guy who thinks a "unmolested" car is the only one to deserve recognition. Good to know considering race and track cars even always experience modifications, but whatever. I mean if you enjoy the DOT approved accordion bumpers and some of the other goofiness these early 80s cars had, go ahead and stop looking at mine. Get your VHS player out throw on your white linen sports jacket, penny loafers and blue-blocker sunglasses and enjoy Miami Vice while you sip on a Sweet strawberry daiquiri ill be driving my car and getting compliments every where I go.

Come on man, let the guy enjoy his dream car. I think it looks fantastic btw...

Brol, don't let anybody dicktate how you feel about your car. It's easy to see how much work you put into it.

I am so glad to come across this thread. I have been looking at IROC converted cars, and I was feeling bummed that my bumpers are the standard width style, not the huge wide flared style...I was thinking my car wasn't going to meet my expectations when it is done, but this car in confirmation of what I hope mine to look like.

Looks great, the color compliments it well. I like to see people who will take a car through a vision and complete it. Mine is on its way....slowly, but moving forward, haha.
