Nice Mark, welcome back to the world of 911 ownership, and de facto membership to the SCWDP.

there is something about a stock 911...just pure and beautiful...

BUT...now you will have to start fiddling with it though...H4's would be a good start!!!

Welcome back

82, I agree with the purity comments. The is something so simple but so beautiful about these cars. At this point, I can't even think about doing mods (I respectfully reserve the right to change my mind, though).

It does have pop off and tensioners. Other than that, it's completely stock. Options are AC, power windows, sunroof and an aftermarket radio/cd. I got complete service history since 1990 and it appears to have been babied. It spent most of it's life in Socal, then a couple of years in Seattle as a Sunday go ta meetin car and the about 3 years here in Dallas sitting in a garage with a cover. The only probs found are a front tire balance issue and AC needs freon. The car does have a repaint, that I'll give an 8.75 and I have a very critical eye. There's been no body damage and the interior looks 2 years old instead of 22. It sits at 100,845 miles today, but after this weekend, should register significantly more. I'll take some more pics and post later.
Mark

Mark, before the pic downloaded, I was thinking of some comment like asking if this was the "before" shot, then later we could see an "after" you got done working the car over. But judging by the pic, there isn't a whole lot of "after" to do, is there? Nice looking car. Me too..welcome back.

Hey Saffs,
The middle of last year, life spun out of control for me. Home and work life both spanked me pretty hard. Had to sell the E for cash to buy a new house when wifey and me split.

Since then, the big guy upstairs has seen fit to bless me a thousand times over. A short time ago, I landed a good job with a pretty solid start up company, bought my house, got a dog, got to be good friends with wifey again (fingers crossed), Just found a new Porsche. What else do I need? Shows that a lotta faith, some good luck and some hard work can put a pretty whacked life back in order.

BTW, the E went to a local Delta pilot that all ready owned a 98 turbo and a restored 356. It's in good hands.

Sweeeet! Very nice condition. '79's are pretty snappy as well; put some SSI's+muffler and later style rotary A/C compressor, (less drag & vibration/more room under hood), you will have a little rocket and still look the same. But it is nice the way it is; I'm just a compulsive upgrader!

Very nice lookin' SC, Mark!
You'll soon appreciate why the SC is the best 911 ever made.

E-mail me your postal address, and I'll send you some SCWDP window stickers, so the brotherhood can recognize you.

Good to see you back in a p-car, Mark, even if it is an SC.

Kidding aside, though, it's beautiful. You've got a good eye for 911's.
