I planned on going with my 912 and a friend...but since I may have burned a valve it'll just be my friend and I. The Dunkel's are big supporters of the Vintage Auto Racing Assn. (VARA), the club I race with, and they have an immaculate showroom of Porsche and car related stuff. I was there early January and they had a Porsche tractor, a Speedster (in a bubble) tons and tons of memorabilia, and some other assorted cars and boats in their showroom. The 356 racer that was placed up in the air at the show last year wasn't around, though.

What about an informal gathering by wherever Pelican Parts is set up at some point in the afternoon, say 1PM?
If anyone is bringing their early car I would really like to check it out!

It is supposed to be 80 degrees at Dunkel's tomorrow, some wind, humidity% in the teens or low 20's.
Perfect P car weather. |

I'm meeting someone from Oregon who is interested in my aluminum-frame ducktail. Plus my gal is actually going to go too so it should be a fun day. Haven't been to one of these gatherings in a long long while.
