Danny Ocean, thanks Thats mine!

Ok, so I picked it up from the P shop today.

Yep, the pin was missing whn the plug was opened. The non P shop picked up the bill for everything: so far is not much.

They drained the oil. they cut open the filter and then they looked at the sump screen. Nothing shows up ... Yet. I'm running it to about a 1000 miles then back to the p shop for a re-opening of the filter to check again.
Made sense since I was not running the car with proper oil pressure the likelihood of any bearing material getting back up the filter was pretty unlikely. Now that my pressure is correct, over the next 1000 miles it may start to show up. We'll be monitoring it over the year.

The non P shop has been very good about it all so far.

SO Your car is back to good form! The other shop stood up and did the right thing. We all got to refocus on why we do what we can for our cars, with the help of PP BBS. All is well in our little corner of this crazy world.
Thanks for posting, I'm sure we will see more of you here:-)
Cheers Richard
