How in the heck - radio install question
I purchased an original blaupunkt, but how do I remove the old radio? The hvac unit is in the way. Do i remove that first? thanks ... and, as always, us newbies really appreciate the advice and help. (second picture is looking up at the bottom of the hvac unit).

Try this site. Says the dash piece slides to the right after you push the radio in far enough to clear the stems. Then the radio pulls out from the front.
May be fastened from behind as well meaning the AC stuff needs to be pulled. Help - removing radio in early 911 |

Take knobs and nuts off then radio cover panel "should" be able to be lifted out. Press down on top and once top is out you can lift out. Most probably radio is braced in back so you'll have to remove A/C.
