Anyone have a printable torque chart
As the subject says. I was wondering if anyone has put together a printable chart with all the toque numbers. I think this would be really handy to have on my garage wall when I need a number with out thumbing around all my books. Not that I don't like that as it is.

Pretty good one at the beginning of each chapter of the Bentley you could cut and paste.

If you got the Haynes manual, their customer service is very acommodating on specifying torque specs not listed in their manual. Trick is you have to own the Manual, they verify a code of the manual to make sure you have one.
But a Torque Spec Sheet would be a great thing to have!

For the whole car?
Wayne's engine rebuild book has a great couple of pages for the engine.

What I've been doing is to use the images out of the PET for the part I'll be working on and move them into Photoshop. Then I get the factory manual and look up all the torque values and add them to the drawing. I also add other information like type and rating of bolts, etc and the page in the shop manual where I found the torque value. Then I print out a copy to use when I'm doing the work. If it gets greased up no problem, just print out another one. Great off season project.

Standard torque table are convenient but they can get you in trouble if you're not careful. The table give you the torque beyond which the BOLT may be damaged. In some of the applications in the image I showed above you have a steel bolt going into aluminum threads. The standard torque in this case could cause damage to the steering rack. Always look at the application and make sure the table applies.

@James - I have the Bentley, but mine ( 84-89 ) doesn't have the torques in the front of the chapters. But they are listed at the end of each section within the chapter.
@Jim - No Haynes here. I do have the Bentley, 101 Projects and How to Rebuild and Modify Porsche 911 Engines. I did register my Bentley, but didn't see any advantages there. @Kevin - Well, maybe not the entire engine, but major areas and then some. Got the engine rebuild book and I did find that Torque page. Pages are already getting greasy. I tell you, the font is just a bit small for my old eye's. @Tony - I like that idea. I do have that .pdf, but it's read only. But this would be great on a project by project print. @Matt - I think Tony is right about using a general torque guide. I'm thinking more along the line of the basic torques. But it's in a basic format I was thinking that would be good. What page is that on. @Peter - At least I'm not alone on this.
