Question For Those Who Been There Done That

In my 75 911s I have replaced the Recardo Seats with Corbeau. Went to 5 point harness setup. What is the method to defeat the seatbelt interlock to allow the starter to work? All the connectors still intact, but nothing to connet them to. Any help appreciated. Jim

no idea what your talking about. there is no starter interlock related with the seat belts, only a light.

Something else is wrong as there is no interlock on these cars.

So all the wiring connected to seats, seat belt retractors, etc. just turn off a lamp behind the "FASTEN SELTBELT" legend? Perfect. Thats for the response. I was under the impression the silver relay box attached to a sizable plug just behind the speedo that had something to do with the seat belts and starter. Mine has a jumper wire stuck in it from PO mechinic work.

It may be part of an alarm system which MAY have( or had) an interlock.

Wiring diagram tells of a auxillary starter relay on "E" and "S" only. No alarm on this car, removed it. Thanks For Responses, Jim
The diagram shows the starter solenoid circuit running through it.
