Whats on your project list?

I have been going strong on my Targa for the last couple of months. It looks like the economy is getting better in my region so I feel a little better spending money on my car again. Since I am married I get sh_t for spending to much on the car.So I try to spread it out. Most of my projects require $$$ so I have to decide what the priorities on the car should be.

My List:

7 and 8 are at Al Reeds for refinish $580 plus return shipping

Tires 245 45 16 and 205 55 16 Toyos Have not shopped yet.

Driver seat repair /recondition leather on all seats and some dye
touch up. Interior is really nice and does not look to bad.$500-1500 range

Trunk update/want to trim and some glue on original carpet and will cut out and trim
spare tire pit so I can expose my future Fuch space saver spare set up.Have additional stock carpet for additional pieces. No $$ just waiting for my 16x6 fuch to go in to AL.

Refinish 6 x16 fuch for spare (Al Reed) Around $225 with shipping both ways.

Mount new OEM 16 space saver I purchased on Ebay. $30.

Final buff out and wax on new paint N/C

Install new stock shift knob I have N/C

Detail engine compartment N/C

Completed projects for this year.

New complete paint job
New Targa seals front and back
New door seals
New front and rear glass seals
Installed new blaupunkt Cassette/ipod unit
Installed amp under passenger seat
Installed new front and rear speakers under oem grills
Installed strip 3rd brake light does not show except when you use the brakes.
Built and carpeted a mount for air compresser, fire extingusher, and flashlight that velcos inplace in the trunk.

My car is is black/black 85 Targa with 89k on it.It is lowered and mechanically sound.
I have been going for a mostly stock and original set up with the car.

I would like to see what other project lists look like.

Brave People listing all of the work needed!! I do not like to think about it but here goes:

#1, Inside Right Fender, Remount the Air Horns so I can install the Fan for my Oil Cooler and correct Oil cooler Lower Bracket.

#2, Fix the electrical connector for the Right side Driving light

#3, (This I really will have to get up for) Fix the Sun Roof.

#4, Install the EZ Electric Power Steering Unit I should get sometime in May.

#5, (With this one I am Done "For a While") Take the SHort tube SSI Heat Exchangers and mount them and then set up with V Band Clamps 2 secondary Pipes. One with 300 Hole Metallic Cats and two without and mount my 2 in & 2 out Muffler from Australia I had on the 1976. I even bought a Tig Welder to do this one.

Pull engine, sent to Supertec for many HP, send trans to John Walker for rebuild to handle HP, street/racing 2 suspension from Elephant/Rebel. That lets me work on the body for a little while! And next week...
