74 2.7 CIS Idle RPM Question

I have a question regarding proper RPM at idle for a 2.7 CIS car. My '74 runs very well, but seems to maintain a higher RPM at idle than it should. This is currently around 1100 RPM when fully warmed. Can anyone advise the correct RPM (at idle) for this year/combination? TIA. | ||

Mine settles in (when warm) at about 950-1k or so. Depends on weather, stage of the moon, octane, or any number of other non-digital factors.

Have you tried to adjust the idle by turning the idle screw?

The stickers under the engine lid should tell you, but my '75 with CIS idles at about 950. I'm pretty sure the stickers say between 900-1000ish. If the idle screw is unresponsive, look for vacuum leaks. 1100 is too high.
