It works under OS X/IE 5.1. It does *not* work using Omniweb under OS X nor on Netscape 4.7 on a Mac in Classic mode.

Since 1985 (Mac 512KE). These days only Photoshop and multitrack audio keep us from being 100% OS X...

Fine with a Mac G4, IE 5.5 and OS 9.1. I'm at a Mac doing recording/editing music all day.....
Macs are great!
There's no way I can use OS 10 yet as the audio and midi support is not there at all other than "experimental".

Well, it is cool Wayne...
...my only question is...what is it for?

Are we going to one day have zoomable, turning parts photos for everything in the catalog????

Saffs,

What are you running for software? I end up using mostly DP3 and ProToolsLE. We have a full blown ProTools setup, but I like to work on my laptop, so DP3 gets most of the work.

I've got some audio working under OS X. Midiman has drivers out for all their Delta Series cards, and OS X core audio recognizes their USB Audio Duo just fine. The beauty of core audio is really low latency as compared with any other OS. As for software, Bias Peak runs fine under OS X, so 2-track is covered. Unfortunately no multitrack yet...eMagic showed Logic 5 at the NAMM show, and Bias showed Deck 3.5...both OS X native versions. They are both a few months away from shipping though.

I use Logic Audio, nostatic. Everything is working so well at the moment, and I'm mid-project, that I'm not going to change a thing! Logic 5 looks exciting, and so does the Logic control. Recently, I've sought a different route to Pro Tools after spending too much on their stuff which - understandably, to a degree - is now only good for wedging doors open (SoundTools et al.). Now computer can absorb the strain as opposed to Digidesign hardware, I'm happy to let it. Thus I use Emagic's soundcard and VST plugins. And use a PT system in the studio.
Anyhow, I'm sure I'm boring some folk here. Drop me an email, nostatic, to discuss further!

Wow

Works great on my Mac G4 (9.2) Internet explorer.

Macs are like Porsches, rare, expensive, and worth every penny!

Macs rule the earth.... or will some day. I got an Apple 22" Cinema Display a couple of months ago and there's no turning back now....

Not fair!!!!

You have the new 22" studio display? I've been drooling over that one for a while. My best friend just bought a titanium powerbook. I hate him.

Seriously though, having used PC's for years then switching to MAC, THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE! Mac and Porsche rule.
