OMG that car is unreal! If eBay would just allow me to sell a kidney I'd have half a chance.

WOW! I don't know how I missed this previously, but just went through the whole thread. Very well done!

SO... there it is in all its glory!

Now for the help I need from fellow Pelicanites... I'm a NON-RESIDENT of the USA. I don't have a house or daily car in the USA. I would like to get "collectable car" insurance but this is pretty hard from what I can see.

I have rung about 3 places so far (Geico, Progressive, Haggarts?) and they don't allow a collectable policy for a non-usa citizen who doesn't have a everyday car in USA.

When I travel to the USA I typically rent a car and plan to then drive the Porsche on a couple of small trips. I'll ultimately ship the car out of the USA.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO MIGHT DO THIS? I need to register the car in Phoenix AZ.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE!

This...

When I'm loaded out of my mind:)

I had thought about a LLC, but the issue is what when I then go to import it back home I'll have to pay duty. When you own the vehicle for more than 12 months and live outside the country you can bring it back in as a personal import and its duty free.

Great thought though! thanks

I never saw the delivery for this build. Did that happen? Is the car overseas now?

fanaudical 11-16-2013 11:34 AM

Silly request - Can you please provide a pic of the dash showing how you did your fire release handle and whatever is taking up space where the radio was?

vintagecarlover 11-16-2013 03:59 PM

Sub'd late. nice.
