Wonder how much superheat he's going to have with 90 degrees outside and .9 lbs. Oh that's right he's got an economizer and desuperheater built in. Reminds me of that purple motor oil.

This has to be the most humorous threads
Hey…This has to be the most humorous threads that I have read ….possibly anywhere. As the English say – Funn-i
1. "I am a marine engineer and a Yacht Captain, I work on some of the finest motor yachts in the world since 1968 with the latest technologies and where the owners money is no object. These yachts have very sophisticated multiple A/C systems I work on besides many other marine engineering things I do all the time regarding them. YACHTS ARE ALWAYS KEPT COLD for several reasons and must work all the time or millions of dollars of damage can result quickly. 2 "I got into manufacturing these custom A/C condensers by accident" What???... "I have Federal EPA refridgeration licenses and use only EPA certified equipment; I wont tell you how to use this device, figure it out for yourself." 3. "WoW people already wanting to know how much he he he" 4. "I came here also not only to share information about what I am doing, but more important to me is to also learn here from others" 5. "I am originally from southern California and very familiar with the entire Mohave desert including Death Valley (Scotty’s Castel was fun to go to a few times)" 6."Patent pending notice !!! & how much Please Note: my condensers are NOW PATENT PENDING!!!I know some idiot will try to copy my aftermarket Porsche condensers now that I have publicly let the world know they exist, if they do I am ready for them and will own them." 7. "Note: I am not an expert on this A/C system so if I made any mistakes in my description feel free to correct me" 8. "I am doing things in the background I have not said anything about yet 9. "Try thinking outside the box" 10. "I wish to say My products are patent pending; I have been advised by an attorney to not discuss any specific" 11. A fellow Pelican casks why ‘Reid’posted his phone #-email “I cannot believe you do not want to get LOADS of emails from Nigeria!!” 12. Reply: "Besides several other things I do I am a USCG Licensed Captain on smaller vessels and also a USCG Licensed Chief Engineer for vessels up to 3,000 tons; as well as a professional marine mechanical engineer; Although I usually work on Private Super Motor Yachts, (“Superyacht” and "Large Yacht" refers to very expensive, privately owned yachts which are professionally crewed); I have had several well paying job offers over the years working off the coast of South Africa and Also Nigeria in the offshore oil industry and from this area of the world; so in the past I have thoroughly checked this area of the world getting pretty good info I think how things are and what its like to live & work there" 13. “I am also a computer expert and have been online since 1986 and I got to tell you that the majority of the worlds internet driven bank fraud money scams come from Nigeria; so a word to the wise is to always beware of any emails coming from Nigeria” [I]Whoa!..Reids been to ‘Death Valley’, he has a Captain Marvel ticket - Is an Injuneer’’, computer expert, Usually works on ‘Super ‘motor’ yachts, and “Large Yachts”….. It even gets Funnier…. 17. "Who knows maybe after I am gone someone will remember I tried to contribute something to make life a little better when we drive our wonderful Porsche car" A Pelican asks Reid: 18. “Something you found on the Russian internet...?”… Keep in mind he is using “secret technology” A well known Seattle Porsche repair facility post’s a link of just how secret it is…This is one of numerous places where he can get his ‘kryptonite’ from… The professional Porsche guys answer: 19. “looks like it.” Brazeway Automotive micro-multiport tubing  20.Whoa!…He’s one a roll: -> “You guys just don’t seem to get it sometimes, SOME OF YOU ARE LOCKED INSIDE A BOX OF OLD TECHNOLOGY and attitudes that never worked VERY G-O-O-D ON 911s!” 21. "I am not like most people!, I think outside the box" 22. I left a hint for a reason I suggest you open your mind and start thinking outside the box" 26. "keep your posts on topic keep it nice & keep it friendly OR SIMPLY GO AWAY! 27. A fellow asks:… “Reid, You use the term "Patent Pending" many times in your description and in your advertising of your product...Have you actually filed a patent application? If so, then could you please provide us with the patent application number? This would go a long way to establishing credibility Frequently Asked Questions About Patents 1. What do the terms “patent pending” and “patent applied for” mean? A. They are used by a manufacturer or seller of an article to inform the public that an application for patent on that article is on file in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The law imposes a fine on those who use these terms falsely to deceive the public 28. The reply: “I am not stupid; I have Federally recognized and approved Patent Attorneys for my products who advise me; they have specifically also advised to say as little as possible both publicly and/or privately, which I have! Therefore you can consider ANY discussion whatsoever related to Patents or Technical Engineering Design aspects, etc., related to my PFC’s "CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION"! Kindest regards, Reid 29. Opps!...He has more to say on this one… "You are on a Fool’s Errand & I AM NOT GOING TO PUT UP WITH IT! “You have tried to bully me to give you or expose to others, what I have told you was confidential information that is to be considered private information! You appear to me to be insulting, disrespectful and rude! I am not going to divulge any technical information here related to any specifics of my technologies or patents pending to you or my competitor.” 30. “You guys really crack me up sometimes and put me in an amusing mood so take no offense, my thinking is on another plain/planet then yours”,….(I think that he is right ) A post from a fellow Pelican to Reid: 31. “Does this mean you are going to turn off the bright lights and put away the sodium thiopental?” I best end here as there is still other 18 pages of entertainment….’Funn-i’ stuff Why read a comic book when it's all here;) |

It seems that every A/C thread here at Pelican over the last 2 years or so are being ruined by only a few people that regularly troll the A/C Threads
They come with some kind of hidden agenda to disrupt and create all sorts of dissension, this includes probably many people with substance abuse, mental emotional, senility, or an array of other who knows what types of problems; not to mention those that are addicted to computers and they waste all their time here posting messages in tons of threads for many hours every day with what seems like no personal life. Most of all is the rudeness these people bring to those who are trying to be respectful to others and to share and exchange knowledge, and these disrespectful idiots attempts to start flame wars or are RUDE ruin it. This rudeness is further amplified by others which are usually the same old trolls who knowingly or unknowingly assist in the disruption to the a/c thread to further instigate the trouble makers. Next comes the freefall. The result is that the people with true knowledge give up because of the frustration and stop giving useful information and the once useful thread is abandoned by all and nothing is left but another worthless mess . I have seen this problem not only in A/C threads I have posted in, but also in the multitudes of other A/C thread I never posted in. I do not know if this problem is related to the pressure from the bad economy or what, but this is a big change in the A/C related threads that for many years in the past here did not have this kind of problem here until recently! It is really sad shame and unfortunate, that what seems like all of the A/C related threads no matter what the subject is inside, turns out ending this way to be another damaged A/C Thread; and again I am not just talking about just the A/C threads I post in, its all of them. Since last year I basically had stopped posting here due to the rudeness thrown at me from a handful of others that regularly troll these treads for whatever hateful reason during this time of year right before the A/C season started; But I continued to read the A/C threads without posting and these same handful of people shifted their mental trouble and rudeness to others along with the people with intent to enable more rudeness to those that were knowledgeable trying to help others by sharing their knowledge. The result was tons of ruined A/C THREADS. It’s a shame that there is no moderation here whatsoever in the A/C treads to quell any of RUDNESS to others, and simple disagreements that should be kept at a gentlemen’s level to keep in reasonable check before it turns into FLAMING. I feel very sorry for the wonderful people who come here seeking knowledge and finding so much uncontrolled over the top dissension, ridicule, hatred, and misinformation etc. I have recently paid another well-known Porsche technical free discussion board a yearly membership fee that gives a higher level of access then the free users have that will give me moderation control and the ability to moderate or exclude people that disrupt the tread topic of discussion treads I start there specifically related to the 911 A/C products I design and make and it will be open to the public. I hope to get this up and running as soon as I have the time. Don’t get me wrong I think there is nothing wrong with someone else’s personal opinions that completely differ from my own it makes for good debate and discussion, but differences in opinion need to be discussed like adults and not children, and here a handful of children find it impossible to act like adults without being rude or worse, and I am not going to put up and waste my time anymore with the children here anymore that refuse to act like adults. Furthermore I have limited patience for wasting very much of my of my time with those into or tout or promote what I consider to be obsolete heat exchanger technologies and if you are still into this old technologies I will be respectful up to a point before I suggest you go to others who might be into them because I am of a different mindset and am commited to state of the art heat exchanger technologies of the future not the past. |
I have had enough with trolls like wwest or other rude people
For the unknowing >>wwest IS THE BIGGEST NOTHING BUT PURE BS TROLL!!! HANDS DOWN found in every single A/C Thread here on Pelican over the last few years; Mr. CLUELESS FAN MAN, who lives in the Pacific Northwest where A/C’s is not even needed; and that continually insults both the real a/c innovators and the 911 owners that are A/C knowledgeable not to mention the poor 911 owners seeking help and some knowledge, and worse of all one of the foremost idiots that damages every single A/C thread he goes into. For the unknowing
Do a wwest search here in thread tools and open your eyes and go read any of the A/C treads he posts his gibberish in to learn about this BS creap. THIS TROLL NEEDS TO BE EXPOSED |
Reid, I had almost forgotten what a fool you made of yourself in this thread (seeing as you are doing such a good job of that in the newer ones) - thanks for the reminder!

I'm sorry I'm not going to read all this BS. Is this thing for sale yet? IF so what are the prices for front and rear?

Unless some way is found to BALANCE the rear condensor/(contents) cooling equation, say more cooling airflow at the times the engine fan air movement does not suffice, this "new" condensor design, or even GTI's equivalent, will prove to be no more advantagous than the factory one. |

My custom made 911 New Technology Parallel Flow Micro-Channel (PFC) Front and Rear Matched Sets ARE AVAIABLE only to USA 911 OWNERS and will include a custom made A/C Protection Filter; Shipment lead time is CURRENTLY about a week Captain/Chief Engineer Reid Kelly 954 599-5235 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371987140.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371987292.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371987389.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371987548.jpg FYI last week I supplied my first PFC front and rear matched set to a Pelican member for DIY TESTING to a 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa owner who lives in central Florida and will post a report when he finishes his installation and testing results http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371994254.jpg Currently I am seeking a 1974-1989 911 DIY owner that lives and drives in extremely hot US desert climate states to be a TESTER for my matched set front and rear PFC’s at a reduced cost; if you’re interested private message me here give me a description about your 911 and the current state of your 911’s A/C system including any modifications or upgrades done to it. Don’t forget to include your real name your telephone number and your regular email address! Quote:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1371994254.jpg I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ENGINEERED, DESIGNED and TESTED SEVERAL NEW 911 HI-TECH A/C SOLUTIONS & I AM PICKY WHO I SELL TOO THAT ARE DIY’ers and have apparently ruffled some feathers here by people I have rejected or THE FOOLS I would not put up with their non-sense or their agenda. |

At least you are persistant but you know the time to do testing is in the spring to get things ready to ship product for summer, not putting out an announcement when summer is almost half over with! Its been over 100 degrees here in Arizona for a month now... The first post on this was 7/2011 and now its almost what... 7/2013 in a week. Some people just do not learn it seems... BTW my 911 using Kuehl's system I have ice cold air coming out of my vents. After waiting for A YEAR to get product from YOU I went with the competition who had the parts in my hand in a week. You are still playing games with the 911 owners on this forum and thread..... |
Joe get over it you were rejected a long time ago by constantly changing what you told me you wanted!
Enjoy the obsolete technology you bought GRIN |
Quote:
Big difference is that Keuhl had product ready years ago that works and works very well. This is still a hobby for you, yet you keep blowing smoke up others skirts trying to get them to work with you when pretty much the whole Pelican community has realized that if they work with you that they might get a A/C system for their 911... but in 2018! You have fun on that boat out there! :) |
I have had PFC's ready for over a year but decided to have them professionally installed and tested first before I made them available for DIY; I AM ON A SERIOUS PLAN and I am on schedule get over it or don't
You could have had them but I got tired of you changing what you told me you wanted and dropped you |
It was fun and also ironic for me to watch/read the reaction to my announcements for my NEW EARLY MODEL 911 A/C SYSTEM DISCOVERY AND INVENTION only for installation at Stokes Automotive Porsche shop in south Florida and will never be made available for DYI's, I plainly announced a few months ago go right over the all the heads of the usual A/C threads noise makers WHO ARE SO STUPID THAT THINK I was referring to my front and rear PFC's.
not to mention my new "PFCE Evaporator" invention I finished that also has nothing to do with my New 911 A/C SYSTEM DISCOVERY AND INVENTION only for installation at Stokes Automotive Porsche http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1369541889.jpg Yep I have been doing nothing related to 911 A/C's ROFL! While all my competition have come out with tons of new 911 A/C product announcements LMAO! |
I Truly feel sorry for the posters of their new thread 911 A/C problems seeking solutions, help, and information in the A/C threads here at pelican ALL being RUINED by the same old crap noise makers so much; that those of us with real A/C knowledge have stopped wasting our time posting helpful/useful info and just avoid them like the plague.
|
Those pictures/displays of center vent temperatures would be a lot more meaningful if the frame including one of the sensors below with the probe in the evaporator inlet and widened to show the fan setting.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372033325.jpg |
It appears that ole' Reid has been huffing too much r134 as of late - or maybe he really is the mad scientist he's always telling us he is!
|
wwest you are the clueless idiot related to anything about the 911 A/C system and are the number one contender from the other top 10 plagues of crap posters here that damage absolutely every A/C related threads here!
You need to be removed from posting here because of the problems you cause that have ruined all the A/C Threads here. Take hint and get lost To the unsuspecting go read any A/C thread here in the last 2 years where wwest has entered the discussion and you will see right away what I mean |
So, what did you find wrong with my suggestion..?
|
Damn this is entertaining. Hell this like a reality tv show lol.
I qm new to this 911 ac thing having just bought money pit. Common sense approach with thermodynamics leads me to believe a better technolgy with the condensers will dramatically increase surface area and exchange of heat. I think the other systems available have some rock solid reputations now, too bad we cant have it all in one huh!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...eys/paddel.gif |

I know you guys are good at debating, maybe you could help a brother and tell me what this stuff is and what it does for my AC because it needs help here in Houston
Just figured out tonight that the front condenser motor, inside trunk isn't working. Or at least not coming on while in my garage. All installed by PO, not sure if he installed barrier hoses when converting from freon. New compressor? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372117493.jpg Not sure what these are for http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372117523.jpg Fans on condenser, do they help? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1372117571.jpg |
Steve,
Open your rear decklid. Look on the INSIDE the upper part of the decklid. If you see somewhat of a line of oil or black stuff on the decklid, thats usually a good sign that the seal on the compressor has gone out and is leaking. Those are overhaulable BTW, but takes some good hands on knowledge. I never buy used, but spend the extra $$ on a new compressor, you just cannot tell if an overhauled unit is good or not. The fan in the front of the car on that condensor must work or your pressures in the A/C system will get high and something will either leak or blow. The fan up front should have a fuse in-line to it, otherwise they have been known to catch fire. The fan can sieze and then overheats and can cost you the car, so the fuse is a good idea. The double rear fans on the rear condensor are a good question. Some people like them for pulling air through the condensor at idle. Some people say they are not worth it. Am guessing the two relays are for the two fans. Appears that someone did a good installation job and would hope that the hoses are the barrier type. BTW, the colored cap on the compressor designates that the system has been converted to R-134. Hope this helps, Joe A PS we are not debating. Many of us pinned our hopes on this "new style of condensor" then got yanked around by the product never being available. Look elsewhere for products if you decide to upgrade, this guy is not worth waiting on. |
Thanks Joe, the hoses aren't stock for sure but the receipts from PO don't show them, only the compressor, fans, relays and R-134. Ordering a new fan and fuse set up for the front condensor.
I understand the physics of AC but not the mechanics, make since? Anyway thanks for the reply |
