ATO Fuse Panel

I am considering making up some "kits" to do the conversion from the old ceramic fuses to the new ATO style fuses. I built one of these for my car several years ago and it has worked perfectly since installed. I would like to put feelers out to see how many of you would want one of these kits. Each kit will include 24 fuse holders, the mounting plate, jumper adapters and the correct fuses with one spare for each size. Each kit will probably be around $150 - $200 depending on what materials cost. I will probably make them in batches of 5 at a time. If you are interested, please let me know so that I can see what the demand will be. Here are a couple of pictures.

Thanks,

I am very interested. Was thinking of doing this myself but if I can buy an already proven unit so much the better.

I think you should ask Wayne if he wants to sell them.....I can see this being popular.

Do you have a pic of your setup in the engine bay? Thx!

Fred, I'd like one also for my 86 cab. Do you already have an ETA for this?

I'm going to be a busy boy!

Ok,

Looks like there is enough interest for me to proceed. I will try to source all the pieces over the next couple of days. The fuse holders will have to come from Europe so they will be the slowdown. I'll keep everyone informed of progress.
Thanks for the interest!

Hi Fred,
I think my 1969 has 12 fuses. Would that work? I'll double check later.

I guess I should ask... what are the differences in the fuse panel over different years? Mine is an '83 SC and I've bought the headlight relay kit our host sells but haven't had a chance to install it yet.

Might be an interesting "option" if you could figure out how to make one with the headlight relays already integrated. Just a thought...

Count me in as well, would this be correct for an 89?
