Are there any other cars that use the same Airflow Sensor/Meter as the Carrera?

I am looking for another AFS/M for my '87 after I determined the resistor board (?) inside has a bad circuit. Do any other cars use the same AFS/M as the Carrera or share the same components? Another question. Is there specific years of sensors/meters that only work for my '87? I read the older ones for the 944's used different voltages and wondered if this applies to the 911 too.

Don't actually know, but it'd be something using Motronic - BMW or Benz perhaps? Have you tried to get a spare AFM here from the classifieds?

The 964 series years 89-94 use the same AFM.

I see that they do according to the host' parts catalog. Thanks. I know it uses the same design but is everything interchangeable (housing/internals)?
