New Member in Seattle, WA
Hello,
I bought the 1983 911SC Cabriolet from Shane (SCWDP911), plan is to drive the car from Memphis, TN, to Seattle, I will fly to Memphis on July 28th and plan to be back in Seattle at latest on Sunday, July 31st. I owned a few Porsche before starting with a 1977 911S Targa, a 1978 911SC Targa, back in the days in Germany a 914, and just recently sold my 1999 996C2. I also own a 914 LE (Bumblebee) which I restored the last 2 years. Looking forward to participate in this forum and hopefully find some parts I need for the new drive ![]() - Juergen ![]() ![]() |

Welcome Juergen!
As stated, my baby is going to a new owner next week. It has been 5 years of a lot of fun, but the last couple of years have seen my spare time going to nothing. I decided it was time to get the girl into the hands of someone who had the time and motivation to bring her back to the glory days. If you guys check out Juergen's threads on the 914world site, you will see why is the perfect next owner for my baby. Of course, this means he is automatically a member of the SCWDP! I will still be around. Maybe things will quiet down over the next year and I can get back into a new project, adn actually have time for it. Juergen, this is a great community of fellow Porsche lovers and support!

Thanks for the welcome, I will try to take pictures during the drive to Seattle and will let you know how it goes.
I will be at the John Walker Swap Meet in Seattle, attended the last few years and always found something I could use. Shane, I promise to take care of the car, I already spoke with a friend who is doing the paintwork on my cars and he will get the car in August to repaint the front hood and do some smaller work. Next step is then to work on the interior. - Juergen |
