81 911sc MSD Install Problem
I have purchased a MSD 6AL. After installing it as per 101 projects and tech article I have no spark. If I connect the green magnetic pickup wire to the Violet and ground to black coming from the MSD unit It fires right up but runs at 2000RPM. I have checked everything according to MSD. White wire creates spark after touching to ground. I have the adapter "no change". I put the old CD unit in and it runs fine.
WHAT AM I MISSING???????? Anyone have this problem? MSD support was no help. |

Problem solved.... Directions show polarity reversed on the Mag pickup. New set of Fyrebraid wires, NGK plugs and the MSD. Purrrs like a Lion
