SC CIS 02 Test port

I did a search and couldn't find information on where the SC 02 sensor test port is. Found the spec for testing, but no help if I can't find the test port. Factory manuals are no help. I have an '80 sc and the 02 system appears to not be working. Also: how do you test temp sensor? Also: not getting a clicking from relay.

I believe it is located on the left side of engine compartment, it is a round socket mounted in the metal panel next to the rear fuse/relay panel. If I had an engine compartment pic I would outline it for you

OK, I found a plug with cap, and three (badly corroded) terminals. Is that it? WHich terminals do I test with?

Can you describe what got you started on this to begin with? Maybe more details on your symptoms?

Reason I ask is that it is not unusual for people to disable the O2 sensor anyway. It just causes it to run in open-loop mode. Do you need to pass emissions? Otherwise, why bother? Not questioning... just curious. Mine is disconnected on my '83 SC.

Customer brought the car in with high/hunting idle. Both those are fixed, AFR and timing set per spec, but car does not accelerate like it should.

Found info on dwell test. Duty cycle is 0.3%.

Went back and tested the relay. The relay is bad.

Since the 02 sensor wasn't working the car still ran like crap to spite the fact everything was tuned to perfection. So just for fun I decided to put in an early SC distributor. Now it runs like a scalded ape!
