Which Triple Square Bit Socket Set?

hi guys, looking at buying a 8 to 10 piece Triple Square Bit socket set and need advice on these brands. I can't find any of these locally, SnapOn have some but their prices here in Australia are more than twice the US. A 5mm SnapOn is US$22 , here price is $45, so I looked at these brands on ebay.

VIM
Neiko
Titan
Sunex

any preferences?
cheers

I've used Sunex products in the past and have been happy with the quality. I have no experience with the Sunex Triple Square bit set, however.

Neiko is typically Chinese copycat stuff. I'd avoid that brand.

I have a set of Lisle brand triple square bits that have lasted well for about 10 yrs. with limited use. Granted I don't work on cars for a living and use them daily, so keep that in mind.

Lisle ones suck.

Those stubby VIM sets get really good reviews and I think Blue Point resells them.

I have a few Hazet and Stahlwille to cover my needs. Not stupid expensive if you order from Germany. I can refer a dealer if you like.

Also note that Pelican carries some, so be sure to check them out.

I have a set of Lisle; have worked for me, and very reasonably priced. Obviously 'YMMV'. I have not used them all that much, but they have done the job. Got 'em online, quite inexpensive as I recall. I recently needed some smaller ones for my Son's BMW, got them at the local Auto parts place. Also cheap.

I picked up a set at a FLAPS, and they worked fine on my door striker bolts.

BTW if the tip wears you can dress it on a bench grinder - that will put a slight concavity in the middle too, leaving the working edges proud of the center, which can help with insertion into the... ah... female part

I got my sunex triplesquare sockets on Friday, seemed to be high enough quality. Not something I see my self using very often.
