Advice needed: SC electrical problems

Just recently, the following components have been cutting in and out intermittently in my 1980 SC. They will occasionally all go out and come back at the same time:

stereo
cigarette lighter
fog lights
rear defroster
sunroof
speedo

I checked the fuses, all OK. I checked the ground for the stereo and it is solid, as well as the hot wire going into the stereo, which comes in directly from the battery, which is perplexing to me. Are all of these components on one circuit typically? Or am I dealing with an aftermarket wiring job from a previous owner? I am not a keen electrical person, purely a novice. I have a friend that is more knowledgeable that will help me troubleshoot, but I was just curious if there are some tips/insight anyone can share of this possibly being a common problem/solution with these particular items. Thanks in advance.

Jim

Check the ground strap on the transmission.

Just because the fuses are not blown, they may be the issue. Take out each fuse and scotch brite each fuse and fuse holder, One at a time and give them a spin after you re install them to make sure they are seated. Those fuses will have a little corrosion on some of them.

Jim,

Do you have voltage on both sides of the fuses?
