Interesting thread. Not really a surprise about complete 911 bumper bodies being available -- for a price -- from Porsche. Especially since they do complete remanufacturing -- for a price. All they have to do is run X number of them off every few years, all galvanized and primed, and stack them up in a warehouse until they're ordered. The 959 body is a little surprising, but then why wouldn't there be a handful of spare bodies still kicking around -- made when it was new?

The catalog is wrong, as the parts they are advertising is a G911 body -- all the body parts advertised are 911 G-series parts -- not the "current model year". Those would start with a 997 not a 911.
