Badge missing : What was there ?

hi,

on the engine hood grill, there sems to be a place where there was a badge....
any idea what it could be ?

Sometimes we place a European type badge on our engine grills.

I have one with the Stuttgart logo.

Perhaps the PO had one & removed it.
