wiper issues
Are most wiper issues, ie. parking in the wrong spot or intermittent not working, the function of the stalk or motor itself. I changed out motors with similar results.

You may want to check the wiper contact at the steering wheel, I believe it is part of the wiper circuit and if not making a complete circuit it may effect the wipers. I am sure others will chime in.

Draco is spot on, as usual. I have also had very good luck doing the following:
1) spraying electrical contact spray into the intermittent switch while vigorously working the switch back and forth. 2) the wiper stalk is very similar to the turn signal stalk, in that the contacts get bent and dirty. IIRC, the stalk can be re-bent and cleaned in situ.
