3.0 cat and 02 sensor delete.

I have been researching exhaust upgrades for my 3.0.....ssi heat exch etc. Does anyone know anything about cat bypass systems??

Not a fan on 3.0s. I like the SSI heat exchanger option. I also recommend keeping the 02 sensor.

With the SSIs you can use an early dual in muffler, single outlet muffler.

About the best bang for the buck for an SC. Use an M+K muffler and you'll be VERY happy. BTW-a cat bypass is just a replacement pipe for the catalytic converter.

Bursch makes a bypass and all of them retain the 02 sensor with. You'll have to bump your richness up to 3-4 on an CO sensor.
I've got one and like it, reduces engine compartment heat and improved my top end.

Did the Bursch improve your lower end torque at all?
