Aren't those new bushing things for use with t-bars? Most go to 935 style plates with the coilovers.

Yes, and no.

The bushings can be used with the t-bars or without.

The point of the 935 style plates is lots and lots of adjustability but as this is street car Clint (Rebel Racing) didn't see the point and nor did I (this is another example of Clint's dedication and honesty as he easily could have sold me the more expensive 935 parts).
In my case I will be removing the t-bars but from what I gather you can run with both t-bars and coil overs if you desire (someone chime in here if I'm wrong....).

Jim, I found some time today to do a bit on the car........

Hopefully I can remove the rain gutters tomorrow.......

Adam993 01-22-2012 01:11 AM

So I started removing the rain gutters today and the first words that spring to mind are painful and time consuming!!

I only got through a bit of the passengers side because it took a lot longer then I expected, happy with the progress though!!

Well, if it makes you feel any better, for those of us in NA it appears you've made good progress on the driver's side!

Don't be mislead there was a fair bit of grinding involved! I think a TIG Welder might have been a better idea for a few of the sections.......

Thanks though!

Adam993 02-03-2012 12:26 AM

Ok people, so the house move has stall slightly so while I have time I'm going to get back in to the project!

Thinking I will attack the floor swap tomorrow! (wish me luck!)

In other news some more parts turned up for the car, got my premium speaker door panels and my RUF weld in strut brace. :)
