A/C delete question
Everything is gone now except these 3 duct hoses. Remove and cap the ducts? Anything else to be done to the heat/fresh air system for optimum performance? I see several years ago that appbiz had a pressed cardboard cover for the hole for the duct coming up out of the smuggler box. I'll check with them to see if still available. Repair where passenger footwell to smugglers box was hacked to do as well.
THanks, Thor ![]()

When I removed the AC I just left the plastic connector piece in place and plugged the hose from the evaporator in the smugglers box. From what little I know I was concerned that the fresh air blower would not work with the system opened up like you have it.

Are you going to reconfigure your system to the non a/c style air distribution valves, or leave the center and side vents non functioning?

For now I guess I'd like to leave as is in case I find I'd like to go back. Probably just pull the hoses and cap the vents. A/C here in Seattle area not a big concern. Does the non A/C distributor pick up the side and center vents?
