I am changing out most of my brake system, and I found the soft lines that run from the reservoir are all dry rotted and disgusting. There is also some rust right under there, so I'm also going to guess it was leaking.
So, I am unable to locally source any special made "brake hose" (please keep in mind, I'm talking about the soft lines that feed down to the master cylinder and carry no pressure.) It is the same size as standard fuel line, and appears to be fuel line. (pretty sure the PO just used 8mm standard) I've heard that brake fluid is especially nasty. Is fuel line going to be able to stand up to this job? Thanks! -Dan

Appreciated, but I'm trying to avoid shipping time. Any local places you may be able to find such a thing? (generically, I know others don't know MY area)

BTW, all those parts are awesome, but I don't need them, they're all good. All I need is the little piece of hose that attaches the reservoir to the plastic feed lines noted above.

I suppose you could use fuel line temporarily for that one run while you wait for the correct rubber hose that is rated for brake fluid to arrive.
