Rebuilt engine storage

I have a fresh rebuilt engine. Unfortunately the body is taking alot longer to come together than expected. Is there any thing I should do for long term storage. When I rebuilt it I oiled down the rings and cylindersOiled and Moly'd all the appropriate places. This thing will probably sit for 6 months or so.

Mine has been sitting for a year.
I have asked my mechanic several times about it, he sais because it is in a heated garage not to do anything beyond turning it over every few months.
I'd like to hear other views on this myself.

The extent to which you have to go and how much attention over the months you have to pay to the engine is probably dependent on the humidity level the engine will be exposed to. in an unheated, enclosed garage I think I would turn over the engine by hand at least once a month, along with (before turning it over, actually) removing the spark plugs and spraying each cylinder with oil fogging spray available at boat shops. Be ABSOLUTELY SURE THERE IS PLENTY OF ANTI-SIEZE COMPOUND ON THE SPARK PLUG THREADS!!!

I think duct tape over the exhaust outlet, and intake horn(s) would be a good idea, but it wouldn't reduce my monthly routine ... just give some barrier to the moisture entry ... but, there still will be some condensation inside, regardless!
