spark plug wire bracket clamp

OK, I know I am going to feel pretty stupid after someone tells me how to do this, but I am having trouble getting the plastic clamp/bracket apart that holds the spark plug wires in place ('84 3.2) . I understand the clips at either end, but there appear to be 2 pins holding it together in the middle, don't want to force anything as I am afraid they may break. Can someone give me some insight on these, could not find a posted thread anywhere on this.
Cheers,
Scott

That little notch to the left side is the clip, if you flip it over you will see one on the right. place a screw drive pry it out gently and BINGO.

When assembly, it just snaps in.

Jim

BTW, Don't worry about it, if you didn't ask you probably would have broken it and then you will feel real tarded for not asking first.

They are a pain to deal with. First, pop the clip open on either end. The two center pieces are a press fit - you have to pry them open. I thought I was going to break them as well. You have to really squeeze them tightly together to get them to close again.

If you do break them our host has them to order.

I used a pair of plyers to snap mine together. No problems.

Yup, that did it! There's even a taper between the parts to stick a screwdriver in to pry the parts apart.

Thanks guys.
