89 C4 running problem.
i posted this on the 964 board, but it seems not many folks go there, so, i'll post here. what the heck.
the post there is titled the same, if you want to know the details, but basically, it runs fairly well with the oxy sensor unplugged, but with it plugged in, the idle gets rough and there's no action when the engine is revved up. like nothing. it will idle though. the bosch hammer says "closed loop lean not present". that's the only fault shown. obviously too lean. the rest of the parameters show ok. new oxy sensor, temp sensor, airflow meter, DME relay, swapped a good brain in, same problem, swapped a good fuel pump, same, fuel filter new, dist belt ok, all connectors checked and cleaned, no intake leaks. gotta get off it now and do something else, so if anyone has an idea, any thoughts would be appreciated.
