915 custom gear set help
I'm getting a short geared built. The original plan was to insert a new short 2nd gear (2.0 -- 17/34) and move the old 2nd up to the third gear spot etc. But my mechanic just informed me that the old 2nd won't work in the third spot. Looks like I'll need a different short "new" third. Anyone have a used "short" third that I can purchase? Any comments are welcome.
