Question optimoly or something else?

I'm a few days away from putting my engine back together and I had a question on lubricating the head stud threads and nuts? The Bently manual call for optimoly (I think?). What exactly is this stuff? What should I use?

Thanks!

John

It's a kind of grease. The Porsche Spec Book also calls for it in this application, saying motor oil is not good enough. It is one of those clear-ish kinds of grease, rather than the dark (moly) grease.

I've got a tube of break in moly grease, white looking stuff. used for rod bearings, etc. Is this ok or do I need do go buy something special? I don't remember what I did on the last motor. Too many years ago?

Thanks!
