Need help locating a condensor for a 2.2 S dizzie

My '69 T has an Bosch 007 distributor - the chart shows it as a 2.2 version. At some time in the car's history someone has taken out the CDI box (I am assuming that it had one) and it is now running with a coil/condensor package. Our host has not been able to find me a condensor so I thought I'd put a photo out there and see if anyone else has this setup and if they can point me in the right direction to find one - or maybe I need to rethink the system?
This is it:

Thanks for the help

Tpickstone,
I may have one of those. Any numbers on it that might help?

Dana,

I'll pull it out again and have a look for numbers on the condensor.

Thanks, Tim

OK, the condensor has no numbers on it and it is 1 inch long and 3/4 inches in diameter.
Thanks again for any help.

Go to your local NAPA store (or similar) and see if they have Echlin or Bluestreak replacements.
Or...how about a Co-op (for tractor parts)?
Any automotive type condensor will work...all it does is reduce the spark across the points when they open.

Some VW aftermarket shops may have the condenser you need.
There should be a value in Microfarad (μF) that needs to be matched, otherwise any other form factor will work.

If you think either of these will work, I'll send one to you.
