I had a similar issue, but ended up being able to hammer the hex socket into each fastener and break the torque. I will replace them upon re-assembly.

To avoid striped allen heads in the future, throw them away and get some torx instead.

Why couldn't you use an arp equivalent like a header bolt with a smaller head. It will not fill up with debris.
