Caliper Rebuild Service
Looking for a few alternatives to White Post Restorations, which I've used in the past. They want $210 per caliper for an '81 911SC. Very happy with their work; just doing some price shopping...

might not be on the lower end of the price spectrum, but excellent quality and service.

PMB performance. They restore calipers for $269 per pair. Check out their work at PMB Performance: We Don't Rebuild Your Brakes... We Restore Them. I just received a pair of front calipers for my 1973.5 911T and they are a thing of beauty.

or just perfectly functional? cleaning them and putting in new seals is cake.

You can buy rebuilt calipers on ebay for about $70 each, no core required.
example: I'm in the middle of restoring some Carrera calipers (including replating $$$). I'll be about $350 into the job by the time I finish. I should have just sent them to Eric.

Will check out PMB in more detail. By contrast, White Post uses SS pistons and offers a lifetime warranty. Turn around is a few day per caliper.
Yes, looking for more than just a rebuild... |
