European Car is doing an ongoing feature on a 911S with a 915 and all those WEVO features in the rebuild. No conclusions yet, just facts on the rebuild.

I've been waiting to see the results of their tranny mods. Got this months issue a couple of days ago - no mension of the Porsche at all.

Spoke to my mechanic about the mods, his view was that it was way too much money to spend on a 915. He sais if you replace EVERY bushing, renew the sinchros, and adjust properly the shifting is quite tollerable.
